International Independent Study/Internship (credit bearing) (Risk Management Program)

Program Description:
VCU

An International Independent study is for students independently engaging in international education.  

If you are a VCU student traveling abroad as a component of a VCU course in which you are or will be enrolled, you must complete the online International Independent Study application. An international independent study occurs when a student enrolled in a course for VCU credit travels abroad to fulfill requirements of the course.  An international independent study may include, but is not limited to, independent study courses, medical electives, and internship courses.  Please only complete the International Independent Study application if you are enrolled in a VCU course for academic credit.

To complete the international independent study online application please click the "Apply Now" button at the top of this page.  VCU Education Abroad has provided instructions on completing the International Independent Study.pdf application. 

Note: VCU faculty-led programs are not considered an International Independent Study.
