Virginia Commonwealth University offers five different options for students to study abroad. Whether you want to travel for a week, a month, or a semester, there's a program that will fit your needs.
VCU Approved Study Abroad Programs
Education Abroad administers all university-sponsored education abroad programs.
VCU Short-Term Programs Abroad
VCU sponsors short-term programs all over the world during the summer, spring break, and winter intersession.
ISEP is a network of 328 universities in 54 countries. Semester, academic year, and summer options are available. The cost for many ISEP programs is based on VCU tuition and housing; others are even less expensive.
Thanks to VCU's partnerships around the world, students enjoy the option to study for a semester or academic year at several international institutions. Tuition and fees are paid to VCU, and room and board are paid directly to the host university.
Students in specific VCU departments have the option to study for a semester or academic year with another university's corresponding department abroad. Tuition and fees are paid at standard VCU rates.
Affiliate Programs and Alternative Programs
Students may study with another university, organization, or directly enroll in the host institution. This option has the most diverse programs.
